U.S. Air Force Reserve Citizen Airmen assigned to the 349th Medical Group participate in a medical readiness training exercise during a Super Unit Training Assembly May 1, 2026, at Travis Air Force Base. More than 100 personnel took part in hands-on scenarios focused on patient care, resource management and operating in austere environments. The exercise served as follow-on training to address gaps identified during the MedRising 2025 exercise, reinforcing lessons learned and improving overall mission readiness. The training also emphasized building proficiency and muscle memory for reservists balancing military duties with civilian careers, ensuring they remain prepared to deliver medical support in deployed settings.
