The following is a photograph of the wet screening station the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) recovery team uses to sort through hard soil in search of clues to locate missing personnel lost during the Vietnam War during a DPAA mission in Quang Binh Province, Vietnam, March 27, 2026. DPAA’s humanitarian mission has a significant role in the Department of Defense’s efforts to build partnerships in the Indo-Pacific region and around the world.
