    Colorado National Guard

    West Fork Complex fire in southwest Colorado outside of Creede in the Rio Grande National Forest burns remaining fuels still available after winds forced a larger, more intense fire up of a nearby ridge June 26, 2013. The West Fork Complex fire is in the Rio Grande National Forest area, and Colorado National Guard soldiers and airmen have been assisting local authorities with everything from task force security, GPS, imagery and mapping and prepping areas for structure protection.
