An end mill cuts through a steel plate inside a Tormach CNC milling machine at The Forge, a joint U.S. Indo-Pacific Command manufacturing asset during Exercise Balikatan 2026 at Fort Magsaysay, Philippines, April 26, 2026. This joint capability allows the 523rd Engineer Company to maintain heavy machinery used in the construction of a field landing strip. CNC machining at the facility provides a critical link for on-site repairs in remote environments.
