U.S. Army Soldiers and U.S. Marines, all assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border, stand in formation to be formally recognized for their achievements during an Air Assault training graduation ceremony at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, April 30, 2026. Over the course of 10 days, students completed rigorous physical training and classroom instruction to earn their Air Assault badges. U.S. Northern Command is working side-by-side with the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection within narrowly defined authorities to provide unique military capabilities to protect the territorial integrity of the U.S. southern border.
