Katie Hobbs, governor of Arizona, is presented with a plaque dedicated to the grand opening of the Tucson Readiness Center during a ribbon cutting ceremony for the readiness center April 29, 2026 in Tucson, Ariz.
The project's total funding of $27,800,000 was a result of a partnership, with $20,000,000 from the federal government and $7,800,000 from the state of Arizona. It is projected to support mission and community requirements for the next 50 years.
The Arizona National Guard is proud of its long-standing relationship with Arizona communities and the presence of our community-based readiness centers play a significant role.
