U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. John Conley, the adjutant general of Arizona, and Katie Hobbs, governor of Arizona, listen to Lt. Col. Julie Jarvis, construction and facility management director of the Tucson Readiness Center, address attendees of a ribbon cutting ceremony for the readiness center April 29, 2026 in Tucson, Ariz.
The initial project request for a new Tucson Readiness Center was submitted to the National Guard Bureau in September 2018, with funding secured in 2019. The design phase commenced in April 2021.
