An Argentine Navy SH-3 Sea King, attached to 2da Escuadrilla Aeronaval de Helicopteros (EAH) 2 lands on the flight deck of Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) for a subject matter expert knowledge exchange and embark between U.S. and Argentine service members held onboard the Nimitz while the ship is underway in the Atlantic Ocean, April 28, 2026. Nimitz is deployed as part of Southern Seas 2026 which seeks to enhance capability, improve interoperability, and strengthen maritime partnerships with countries throughout the region through joint, multinational and interagency exchanges and cooperation.
