Two members of the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) participated in the District of Columbia National Guard-run Junior Leader Course (JLC) at the Regional Training Institute (RTI) at Fort Belvoir, Va., April 20-24, 2026. The course is designed to develop skills in map reading, troop-leading procedures, medical evacuation, weapons training, land navigation and a field training exercise (FTX) allowing members to hone their skills in tactical movement, communication, and building clearing.
