Maj. Gen. Scott Naumann, 10th Mountain Division (LI) and Fort Drum commanding general, and Command Sgt. Maj. Daniel Burns, Fort Drum garrison senior enlisted adviser, present the Volunteer of the Year award in the large community group category to Rita Barker. Barker has served as a volunteer sewing instructor at the Family Resource Center for more than 17 years, teaching this valuable life skills to countless community members.
