Antonio Hyde, Assistant Chief of Staff for Training and Readiness at Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, delivers Get Real, Get Better waterfront leadership training for commanding and executive officers at Mariner Skills Training Center Pacific. Attendees discussed restructuring Midshipman training programs in order to acquire new talent in the Surface Warfare Officer community. The mission of Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet is to man, train, and equip the Surface Force to provide fleet commanders with credible naval power to control the sea and project power ashore.
