(April 10, 2026) Navy Counselor 1st Class Jacob Smith, Strategic Weapons Facility, Atlantic (SWFLANT) command career counselor, recites the oath of Enlistment during his reenlistment ceremony officiated by Lt. j.g. Ventavious Bell at the SWFLANT missile display at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Ga., April 10, 2026. This reenlistment it marks Smith's official rate conversion from Missile Technician to Navy Counselor. SWFLANT’s mission is to deliver safe, secure and effective sea-based strategic deterrence capabilities to fleet ballistic missile submarines.
