U.S. Air Force personnel assigned to the 374th Airlift Wing offload cargo from a C-130J Super Hercules assigned to the 36th Airlift Squadron in Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, April 19, 2026. The U.S. military is dedicated to supporting civil and local authorities as recovery efforts continue in the wake of Super Typhoon Sinlaku. Service members are working with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and government officials to assist with assessments and coordinate military personnel and equipment to support recovery efforts.
