U.S. Army aviators assigned to Company C, 2nd General Support Battalion, 238th Aviation Regiment, 59th Aviation Troop Command, South Carolina National Guard, participate in a joint training event with medical personnel from Oconee County EMS and Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital near Lake Jocassee and Seneca, South Carolina, April 17, 2026. The training consisted of scenario-based air missions aboard a UH-60L Black Hawk helicopter and encompassed core emergency critical-care tasks, such as the extraction and airlift of simulated patients, in-flight triage, life-saving procedures, and the handoff of patients between military and civilian medical personnel.
