    Coast Guard Cutter Tampa (WMEC 902) crew members conduct post-mooring operations at Base Portsmouth, Virginia following a 74-day counter-drug patrol in the Eastern Pacific Ocean, April 18, 2026. In support of Joint Interagency Task Force-South and Operation Pacific Viper, Tampa's crew worked alongside additional Coast Guard units and an embarked Coast Guard Helicopter Interdiction Tactical Squadron aviation detachment to interdict nearly $45 million in illicit narcotics.
