The Marine Shop was founded in 1962 by retired U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Harry Elms. In 2007, ownership was passed on to the Marine Corps Association. Under the newfound direction of Marine Corps Community Services, The Marine Shop will continue to build upon its legacy of providing premier support to Marines for their uniform needs in Quantico, Virginia, April 17, 2026.
