U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Jeremy Jenkins, sergeant major of Headquarters and Service Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group (2nd MLG), flies a small unmanned aircraft system while visiting Marines assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB) in El Centro, Calif., April 8, 2026. JTF-SB, Marines and Sailors from 2nd MLG are supporting U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) by assisting in the execution of full-scale, agile, and multi-domain operations. U.S. Northern Command is working side-by-side with the Department of Homeland Security and CBP within narrowly defined authorities to provide unique military capabilities to protect the territorial integrity of the U.S. southern border.
