A U.S. Army Soldier assigned to the 59th Troop Command (59th TC) readies his gear during an emergency response capability display at McCrady Training Center, April 11, 2026. Soldiers from various units falling under the 59th TC displayed their roles and abilities to aid South Carolina and its residents. The vehicles and personnel demonstration showed the readiness of the Soldiers to support the emergencies needs of the state's residents including water purification, food preperation to distribute and clearing roads for safe travel.
