Christian Katembo, company first sergeant, Alpha Company, Marine Barracks Washington, observes the Joint Service Drill Competition as a judge at the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C., April 11, 2026. The Silent Drill Platoon as well as other drill teams from their respective branch of the armed forces were evaluated on factors such as military bearing, precision, and crowd interaction.
