U.S. Marines with the United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon execute their "rifle inspection" sequence during the Joint Service Drill Competition at the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C., April 11, 2026. The Silent Drill Platoon as well as other drill teams from their respective branch of the armed forces were evaluated on factors such as military bearing, precision, and crowd interaction.
