    USS Arleigh Burke (DDG 51) Damage Control Drill

    Damage Controlman 1st Class Korye Ricks and Damage Controlman 1st Class Adam Barbour, Sailors assigned to the USS Arleigh Burke (DDG 51), set up a Proximity Air Support Pack and Reentry Air Support Pack (PASP/RASP) during a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBR-N) drill conducted in support of Arleigh Burke’s Mobility-Damage Control (MOB-D) certification on March 11, 2026. MOB-D is a ship certification assessment that tests the crew’s ability to combat flooding, structural damage, fire, and toxic gas. Arleigh Burke is currently underway completing her seventh Forward Deployed Naval Forces Europe Patrol in support of evaluation and recertification of over twenty mission areas in order to maintain warfighting readiness and lethality.
