NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITIES NAPLES, Italy (April 1, 2026) A side view of an unaccompanied housing unit onboard U.S. Naval Support Activity (NSA) Naples, Italy, where resident Sailors now have access to free Wi-Fi which rolled out Apr. 1, 2026. The free Wi-Fi is part of the Navy’s Virtual Single Sailor Program, a collaboration between Commander, Navy Installations Command’s Morale, Welfare and Recreation program and the Navy Exchange Service Command. NSA Naples is an operational base, home to over 50 commands and 8,500 personnel, providing crucial support for U.S. and allied forces across Europe, Africa, and the Central Command's areas of responsibility. From air and port operations to force protection and logistics, the base ensures combat readiness while prioritizing the well-being of service members and their families.
