Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Kyla M. Reese, a pharmacy technician, searches for patient medications in rolling storage shelves and pulls additional supplies to maintain working stock at U.S. Naval Hospital Guam’s pharmacy. Reese’s efforts support timely medication distribution, ensuring patient safety and operational readiness across the command. Reese is a member of USNH Guam's pharmacy team, which was recognized as the U.S. Navy Pharmacy Team of the Year for fiscal year 2025. The award was announced during a ceremony at the Joint Federal Pharmacy Seminar Nov. 1, 2025 and recognizes the team’s outstanding contributions to operational readiness, patient care, and process improvement, solidifying their role as a cornerstone of pharmaceutical support in the Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) area of responsibility.
