U.S. Soldiers assigned to 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) wait to receive their new unit
patches during the 3rd SFG(A) Patching Ceremony at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, March 27,
2026. The patching ceremony is a 3rd SFG(A) tradition in which new Soldiers to the
organization are greeted by the command team and receive a shoulder sleeve insignia, marking
