Blanchard II, Commanding General (Interim) of the District of Columbia National Guard, welcomes the 2026 Dunbar High School Internship Program cohort, held in partnership with the DC National Guard, at the D.C. Armory on March 25, 2026. Led by Kyra Miller, Youth Programs Development Specialist for DC Government Operations–DCNG, the internship—running through May 30—provides high school seniors the opportunity to intern within a military unit while gaining professional development experience.
