- [ ] Medal of Honor recipient retired U.S. Army Maj. Alfred V. Rascon laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on March 25,, 2026. Rascon became a Medal of Honor recipient for his act of heroism during the Vietnam War in 1966 when he disregarded his personal safety to save a wounded battle buddy and provide ammunition to another and administered life saving casualty care to the wounded soldiers ignoring his own wounds.
