(March 11, 2026) Educators from various colleges and universities pose for a photo on the pier after returning from an underway aboard Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Greeneville (SSN 772) as part of an Educators Orientation Visit (EOV), March 11, 2026. EOV is a Navy Recruiting Command program that gives educators a firsthand opportunity to experience the U.S. Navy and showcase the various career paths available to students. Greeneville is assigned to Commander, Submarine Squadron 11, home to four Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarines, which are capable of supporting various missions, including anti-submarine warfare, anti-ship warfare, strike warfare and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
