    ​PACIFIC OCEAN (March 11, 2026) Senior Chief Sonar Technician (Submarine) Rowdy Herber, assigned to Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Greeneville (SSN 772), and Master Chief Brandon Wallis, command master chief, Submarine Squadron 11, stand in the ship’s control room during an Educators Orientation Visit (EOV), March 11, 2026. EOV is a Navy Recruiting Command program that gives educators a firsthand opportunity to experience the U.S. Navy and showcase the various career paths available to students. Greeneville is assigned to commander, Submarine Squadron 11, home to four Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarines, which are capable of supporting various missions, including anti-submarine warfare, anti-ship warfare, strike warfare and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
