Daryl Caudle, recognizes Operations Specialist 1st Class Patrick Wantoch assigned to the Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Tulsa (LCS-16), on Sembawang Naval Installation, March 25, 2026. As the U.S. Navy’s forward-deployed destroyer squadron (DESRON) in Southeast Asia, DESRON 7 serves as the primary tactical and operational commander of littoral combat ships (LCSs) deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
