U.S. Marines with 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, participate in one of the field meets resulting in a buddy drag up and down the field, on Marine Corps base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on Mar. 29th 2026. 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion conducted a ceremony in remembrance of Sgt. Lawsons bravery and actions during a Composite Unit Training Exercise incident during Apr. 18th, 2024. Sgt. Lawson was awarded a meritorious promotion for his bravery, and a Navy and Marine Corps Medal for his actions.
