A U.S. Coast Guard K‑9 team conducted detection drills during a TSA‑led multi‑agency K‑9 event at Fort Hamilton on March 11, 2026. Transportation Security Administration canine training instructors from John F. Kennedy International Airport brought together more than 65 handlers and their K‑9s from 13 agencies across New York and New Jersey for detection and response scenarios across the installation.
