Chris Nash, Commander, of Submarine Group 9 arrive to Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine USS Kentucky (SSBN 737) for a tour during a visit to Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor, March 19, 2026. Kentucky is assigned to Commander, Submarine Group (SUBGRU) 9, which exercises operational and administrative control authority for assigned submarine commands and units in the Pacific Northwest providing oversight for shipboard training, personnel, supply and material readiness of SSBNs and their crews.
