Maj. Gen. Paul D. Rogers, the Adjutant General and Director of the Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, shows his challenge coins to troops assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 238th General Support Aviation Battalion, March 13, 2026, at the unit’s armory in Grand Ledge, Mich. Rogers visit was part of a state-wide armory modernization tour during his final year serving as the state’s TAG. During his visit, Rogers unveiled a new briefing to educate members on state benefits secured during his tenure. Michigan is the only state to undergo a modernization of its readiness centers, with all 33 set to be finished by November of this year. The Grand Ledge Armory was the first armory completed under the new program, undergoing a $3.962 million renovation, which was completed in August of 2022.
