Cirpo, deputy commanding general of the Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), and Daniel Waturo, ward veterinary officer for the Samburu County government, meet during a two-day Justified Accord 2026 Veterinary Civic Action Program (VETCAP) at Archers Post, Kenya, March 10, 2026. The VETCAP supported community resilience by providing critical veterinary care, improving livestock health, and fostering collaboration between U.S. forces, Kenya Defence Forces, and local communities.
JA26 increases multinational interoperability in support of humanitarian assistance and crisis response, prepares regional partners for United Nations and African Union missions, and builds readiness for the U.S. joint force.
