Senior Chief Constructionman Keith Reed, Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 1 Construction Dive Detachment Bravo (CDD/B) master diver, hands over a guide on to Lt. Julianna Pereira, UCT 1 CDD/B officer in charge, during a turnover ceremony held March 13, 2026, aboard Camp Mitchell on Naval Station Rota. The ceremony marked the completion of a six month deployment and the transfer of responsibility between CDD/B and Construction Dive Detachment Charlie (CDD/C). UCT 1, CDD/C, currently deployed under 22NCR, is a specially trained and equipped unit within Navy Expeditionary Combat Forces, that specializes in diving, light salvage, underwater construction, and military engineering operations in austere environments.
