A U.S. Marine aircrew member assigned to the Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 364 prepares for takeoff aboard an MV-22B Osprey at Beale Air Force, California, Feb. 10, 2026. Marines alongside Airmen from Beale Air Force Base conducted a joint training exercise to practice search and rescue techniques with the MV-22B crews acting as the simulated recovery aircraft. These multifaceted trainings allow for the practical implementation of search and rescue procedures and enhance interoperability between branches during joint missions.
