U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) participate in a squad competition at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, March 3, 2026. The competition tested soldiers on a variety of tasks, including weapons qualification, an obstacle course, air assault load preparation, fast rope operations, a 12-mile ruck march, physical fitness events, and a board evaluation. The event assessed soldiers’ physical endurance, technical proficiency, and teamwork.
