U.S. cannon crewmembers with the 1st Battalion, 101st Field Artillery Regiment, Massachusetts Army National Guard, fire a Kenya Defence Forces M119A2 howitzer during a Justified Accord 2026 bilateral Table VI live-fire certification at Bearing Point 5, Laresoro, Kenya, March 6, 2026. Table VI certification validated artillery crews’ ability to safely and accurately execute fire missions under live-fire conditions, ensuring technical proficiency and readiness before advancing to more complex combined arms operations.
JA26 increases multinational interoperability in support of humanitarian assistance and crisis response, prepares regional partners for United Nations and African Union missions, and builds readiness for the U.S. joint force.
