Kenya Defence Forces forward observers and a U.S. Air Force joint terminal attack controller plot target coordinates during a Justified Accord 2026 cross-training event at Bearing Point 5, Laresoro, Kenya, March 6, 2026. The training improved target acquisition and refined fire support coordination between forward observers and indirect fire assets alongside U.S. JTACs, enhancing multinational communication, targeting procedures, and overall interoperability during combined operations.
JA26 increases multinational interoperability in support of humanitarian assistance and crisis response, prepares regional partners for United Nations and African Union missions, and builds readiness for the U.S. joint force.
