Sammy Vilaysane, Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency linguist, directs local Lao workers during a recovery operation in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Feb. 06, 2026. The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency recovery team and local workers work together to search for possible evidence to identify missing personnel lost during the Vietnam War.
