Local Lao worker operates a chainsaw during a recovery operation in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Jan. 20, 2026. Power tools are used by the Defense POW/ MIA Accounting Agency recovery team and local workers in support of site setup so that search for possible evidence to identify missing personnel lost during the Vietnam War can begin.
