Fort Bliss Soldiers and community members run during the 11th annual Run for the Fallen at Pershing Heights on Fort Bliss, Texas, Feb. 28, 2026. The route, lined with tributes to the fallen, was part of a 5K run and 1-mile walk organized by Fort Bliss Morale, Welfare and Recreation and Army Community Service Survivor Outreach Services to honor more than 200 fallen service members from the El Paso and Fort Bliss communities. The names of the honored service members are inscribed on a monument at the Fort Bliss Field of Honor. (U.S. Army photo by David Poe, Fort Bliss Garrison Public Affairs)
