A U.S. Marine Corps AH-1Z Viper with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 269, Marine Aircraft Group 29, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, is staged on a flightline during MAG-29 Distributed Aviation Operations Exercise at Patrick’s Air Force Base, Florida, Feb 24. 2026. MAG-29 DAO Exercise is a multi-week exercise designed to distribute command and control aviation forces, pushing authorities to the lowest levels while keeping forces moving between airfields and air sites.
