    Two U.S. Marine Corps AH-1Z Vipers with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 269, Marine Aircraft Group 29, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, are staged for takeoff during MAG-29 Distributed Aviation Operations Exercise at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida, Feb. 24, 2026. MAG-29 DAO Exercise is a multi-week exercise designed to distribute command and control aviation forces, pushing authorities to the lowest levels while keeping forces moving between airfields and air sites.
