U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Kison Kendall, a medical technician assigned to the 102nd Medical Group, assesses patient information prior to treatment in support of the Justified Accord 2026 Medical Civic Action Program (MEDCAP) at Laresoro, Kenya, Feb. 27, 2026. U.S. Soldiers and U.S. Airmen medical personnel, alongside counterparts from the Kenya Defence Forces and local civilian medical teams, provided primary medical care to local residents. The combined team delivered essential role one care, strengthened partnerships and refined medical skills in an austere environment.
JA26 increases multinational interoperability in support of humanitarian assistance and crisis response, prepares regional partners for United Nations and African Union missions, and builds readiness for the U.S. joint force. Led by U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), and hosted in Djibouti, Kenya, and Tanzania, this year’s exercise incorporates personnel from approximately 15 nations.
