NORFOLK, Va. (Feb. 25, 2026) Force Master Chief Jon Lonsdale, Naval Surface Force Atlantic, recognizes Fire Controlman 2nd Class Angelica Gil, assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1), during a visit, Feb. 25, 2026. Lonsdale visited Wasp to meet with Sailors and senior leadership. Wasp is conducting a selected restricted availability in BAE Systems Norfolk Ship Repair following a seven-month deployment.
