NORFOLK, Va. (Feb. 25, 2026) Force Master Chief Jon Lonsdale, Naval Surface Force Atlantic, recognizes Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) 3rd Class Ian Arevalo, assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1), in the ship’s triage during a visit, Feb. 25, 2026. Lonsdale visited Wasp to meet with Sailors and senior leadership. Wasp is conducting a selected restricted availability in BAE Systems Norfolk Ship Repair following a seven-month deployment.
