Sailors with 3rd Medical Battalion conducted advanced casualty care training in a Role 2 setting during Kaizen-X, performing life-saving casualty care on simulated patients to enhance expeditionary medical readiness. The training incorporated a comprehensive, multi-tent medical system designed to stabilize, treat, and prepare casualties for evacuation, including en route care, forward resuscitative surgery, holding, and ancillary support capabilities that replicate real-world combat medical operations.
