Green Berets assigned to 3rd Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) await call times for a military free fall (MFF) jump at Firebird drop zone near Fairbanks, Alaska on Feb. 05, 2026. The MFF allowed the team a chance to refine jump tactics, techniques and procedures while also testing gear capabilities in Arctic environments, resulting in increased lethality and combat readiness in contested conditions.
