Jakob Olson, noncommissioned officer for USSPACECOM Strategy, Plans and Policy Directorate, at USSPACECOM’s headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colorado, February 18, 2026. Olson developed and delivered pivotal mission analysis and concept briefs, which were approved by Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. USSPACECOM, working with Allies and Partners, plans, executes, and integrates military spacepower into multi-domain global operations in order to deter aggression, defend national interests, and when necessary, defeat threats.
